Platforms and Technology

Currently, we make games for the PC using the Unity engine and the C# programming language (used by Unity). Art is done with 3ds Max, Illustrator and Photoshop. As a small developer, it’s not easy to make games for a console like the Wii or a hand held like the DS. At one point, we tried making PaperDoll for the iPhone but we weren’t successful – even though PaperDoll is a simple game, it has a lot of art and turned out to be too big to fit on the iPhone. It’s possible we’ll explore other platforms in the future but for now, for an indie developer like Shikigami, the PC is the best place to be.
